Citizens Science aims to bring scientists and NGOs closer to each other in order to perform research projects together, with the NGOs participating as full research partners.

Today, Citizens Science is run by six NGOs from different European countries working together to form this web site. If you are interested to participate as well, you're more than welcome to get in touch with us! Or just start participating in the discussion forum!

Association pour la création d'une Fondation Sciences Citoyennes (FSC)

A NGO dedicated to the redistribution of the capacity for expertise and research towards citizen-movements.

Fondation Sciences Citoyennes is the leader of the STACS project.

Demos

Demos is the think tank for everyday democracy. We believe everyone should be able to make personal choices in their daily lives that contribute to the common good. Our aim is to put this democratic idea into practice by working with organisations in ways that make them more effective and legitimate.

European Public Health Alliance (EPHA)

The European Public Health Alliance is a network of more than 100 nongovernmental and non-for profit organisations working on public health in Europe. 35 EPHA members are pan-European or international networks.

Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE)

The Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) is a non-profit non-governmental organisation active in many European countries and involved in many global activities. Access to software determines participation in a digital society. To secure equal participation in the information age, as well as freedom of competition, the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) pursues and is dedicated to the furthering of Free Software, defined by the freedoms to use, study, modify and copy. Founded in 2001, creating awareness for these issues, securing Free Software politically and legally, and giving people Freedom by supporting development of Free Software are central issues of the FSFE.

Institut Mensch, Ethik und Wissenschaft (IMEW)

The Institut Mensch, Ethik und Wissenschaft (IMEW), an interdisciplinary and independent research centre is a non-profit public company with limited liability. The circle of nine partners consists of nine German disability and self-help organisations. The institute seeks to build bridges between science and civil society especially in the field of biomedicine. Our mission is to improve the decision making processes of politics, science and civil society by including the perspective of disabled and chronically ill people. Contact person: Katrin Grüber

Semences Paysannes

Semences Paysannes, un réseau constitué d'organisations paysannes et d’agriculture biologique nationales, d'organisations spécialisées, d'artisans, de paysans, d'associations semencières ou pépiniéristes, d'associations de développement et d'associations de conservation de la Biodiversité.
