STACS project
Citizens Science was originally run by six NGOs participating in a EU-funded project STACS (Science, Technology and Civil Society). On these pages you will find additional information about the project as well as the reports from it.
This project aimed at giving CSOs the possibility of attending and contributing to training sessions on selected scientific issues of high societal relevance, explore the possibilities of drafting common research projects between CSOs and public research laboratories (research project nursery workshops). The project also create an interactive European platform in the form of a website allowing communication between CSO and scientists (the Citizens Science web site).
