The Citizens Science website is open to allow for discussions on research policy, the relation between civil society, researchers and policy makers, as well as offering a place where people from all fields can come together to exchange ideas and find partnerships for research projects.
To help you get started with the web page, here is an explanation of the four main areas:
1) Find partners:
In this section, you can publish your ideas for projects that you wish to engage in, or browse projects that other people are interested in to find potential partners for a common research project. If you're a research and would like to work with NGOs, an NGO wishing to work with researchers, or you have a general idea for a project that you wish to engage in, then this would be the place where to post it.
2) Discussion forum:
The forum offers scientists, NGOs, policy makers and all interested people the possibility to discuss on research policy issues and any other issues which might be of interest for citizens science.
3) Highlighted projects:
There are already a few projects which are being run in collaboration between scientists and researchers. On this page you will find a description and some information about some of them, which we would like to hightlight. You can contribute your own success stories here!
